Chaos Control Throw Down at the Secret Spot

Nick Wiersema

Chaos Surf Company and Wake9.com come together at a Secret Spot with family and friends to throw it down behind the Tige Boats  RZX. It was a cool morning in November, but the stoke was electric. Get on Board or Be Left Behind.

No Chaos Athletes were harmed during the the development of this production. To find your next favorite Shred Sled hit the Boards link above.

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

Nick Wiersema

A picture is worth a thousand words.... and in this instance a single word is very important. The word WAKE is molded into this blank. This not only signifies the blank model or type but so much more. Finally after years of development we have a universal performance blank specifically designed for wake surfboards. This is a first of its kind.

Why is this so important? First and foremost it is a pressure molded blank. This blank, made up of thousands of tiny polystyrene pellets was formed to shape in a mold specifically for the manufacturing of high performance surfing craft. It was not hot wired from a big chunky foam billet of random density, manufactured for wall insulation. The benefits of such a process are:

  • very tightly fused beads
  • far less waste
  • user specific or customizable densities
  • lighter more resilient finished product.

What is at the core of your board? Cheap crumbly, water sponging insulation foam covered in spackel and fillers, or high performance, pressure fused Marko Foam.
